We had planned the trip for almost a year. Nick and Heather had traveled from the other side of the globe to get here. Most had used precious vacation time for this opportunity. As much as we tried to pretend otherwise, we were here for one reason alone…to witness the spectacular gathering of the largest fish in the ocean…whale sharks.
